Alarms & troubleshooting

COMM_TIMEOUT_FAIL / Communication Timeout Fault
Comm LED OFF or blinking Red, master controller reports offline
Reversed differential polarity, missing 120-ohm terminal resistor, or address collision
1. Probe differential lines with a DMM to verify correct signal polarity; 2. Confirm that the 120-ohm termination resistor is enabled on the bus ends; 3. Check baud rate (e.g. 9600bps) and unique slave address on master HMI.
VOLT_SAMPLE_OOR / Voltage Sampling Out-of-Range
Warning Amber LED solid, corresponding channel reading flashes
Grid voltage surge, loose voltage divider sensing lead, or disconnected sensor wire
1. Measure physical terminal voltage with a calibrated digital multimeter; 2. Tighten input terminal screws and check for oxidized wire contacts; 3. Re-zero calibration offset or adjust threshold parameters on configuration menu.
HARDWARE_STATUS_ERR / Self-Test & Watchdog Reset
Fault Red LED solid, internal alarm relay contact closed
Input power voltage sag below threshold, EEPROM CRC checksum mismatch, or oscillator drift
1. Confirm operating auxiliary power supply voltage is stable within rated bounds; 2. Power-cycle the unit for 10 seconds to initiate a clean hardware reset; 3. If failure persists, reflash factory firmware or replace the controller module.
