Alarms & troubleshooting

ALM_PWR_01 (LLVD_DISCONNECT / Low Load Voltage Disconnect Tripped)
M830B controller red CRITICAL LED blinking fast, audible buzzer sounds continuously, secondary DC loads cut off
Prolonged mains outage drained batteries below threshold (-44.0VDC), LLVD contactor opened to preserve core equipment
1. Deploy emergency diesel generator to subrack AC input terminal block via ATS to restore AC supply; 2. Once DC bus voltage rises above -48VDC, M830B will auto-reclose LLVD contactor (or force reclose via menu); 3. Audit battery boost charge current limit in controller (set to 0.1C~0.15C) to prevent generator stalling.
ALM_PWR_02 (RECT_N_PLUS_ONE_LOST / Rectifier N+1 Redundancy Depleted)
M830B controller yellow PROMPT LED lit; faulty R48-2000e3 rectifier module red LED on with fan stopped
One installed rectifier module tripped due to internal thermal/OVP or hardware failure, exhausting N+1 reserve margin
1. Query M830B LCD for faulty rectifier slot ID and error code (e.g. OV, OTP, PFC Fail); 2. Unlatch handle of failed rectifier and hot-swap it out of subrack; 3. Insert spare genuine R48-2000e3/R48-3000e3 module firmly, lock handle, verify green LED solid and current sharing resumes.
ALM_PWR_03 (SPD_SURGE_FAILED / Surge Protection Device Fault)
AC SPD inspection window turns from green to red; M830B controller logs SPD Fault alert
Lightning impulse or severe inductive grid switching surge dissipated by MOV, self-sacrificing to protect subrack electronics
1. Inspect main earth grounding bar, verify ground loop impedance complies with telecom standard (< 5 Ohms); 2. Pull out degraded red SPD cartridge pluggable core by hand; 3. Insert identical replacement SPD module (20kA/40kA 385V) until window turns green; controller alert clears automatically.
